So I sat down at home one night thought about a name… and came up with
the word GREEN (like the countryside reminds me of) then the Word COMPANY came
into mind. I thought the name GREEN COMPANY was a bit boring and not very explanatory
on it own so I added the words INTERNET SERVICES.
This then gave me the front to think of what was a good company slogan. So I
thought about the location of where I lived and something good, and I came up
with this… The Best In
The West.
Once I had sorted all this out I had to find a way of advertising the company,
well… being an Internet Company it should have a web site so I sat down
again and built myself a web site using Macromedia Dreamweaver 4, and built
a fairly basic site. The difficult part was not building the site but trying
to work out where to host it and with whom. I bought endless computer and Internet
magazines and spent a few hours looking around on the internet till I found
a company called One and One Web hosting (http://www.oneandone.co.uk). I registered
my domain and they sorted everything else out for me.
